Gary Devereaux (left), the executive chef of London Zoo's caterers, helps prepare meals for zoo's animal residents in a food prep room on July 17 at the London Zoo in London, England.

When he's not assisting zookeepers on the finer points of non-human cuisine, Devereaux is preparing for the unveiling of the zoo's new Terrace Restaurant, which is due to open to the public on July 19.
