It seems like each and every year there is a new diet out there that is going to make you have success with quick weight loss and disease prevention. Well, most of them do not work and seem to not be popular with the people anymore after a few months. However, CNN.com/health has ranked the best diets for people and this years winner is the DASH Diet (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension). This diet has stood the test of time with winning the annual best diet per CNN for three straight years. This diet does not require you to not restrict all foods (limits sodium) and promotes whole-grains, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, and nuts/seeds/legumes. The DASH diet has shown to reduce hypertension lowers cholesterol and reducing your risk for heart disease, stroke, kidney stones and diabetes.
