Chester and Tri-Valley split

Anthony Ognibene went 3-for-4 with to lead host Chester to a 9-4 OCIAA Division V win over Tri-Valley.

Andrew Lakis pitched a seven-hitter for Chester (13-5, 12-2 OCIAA), which fell to Tri-Valley 2-1 earlier in the day. That game was the completion of a game suspended in the seventh inning due to rain on Thursday. Rodney Jester scored the game-winning run in the eighth inning for Tri-Valley (14-5, 11-3 OCIAA), scoring on a fielder's choice. Matt Coffey pitched a three-hitter for Chester.


Cornwall 10, James I. O'Neill 3

Jimmy Patterson went 3-for-3 with two doubles and four RBI to help Cornwall to a non-league home win.

Winning pitcher Casey Kerdesky allowed two hits in five innings. Connor Kwalwasser added two hits for Cornwall (15-5).
